Programs for Community Organizations
Meaningful change requires collective effort. In working to empower youth, we actively collaborate and partner with the communities that surround and support them. This includes parents, educators, coaches, community groups, after school programs, elected officials and others. Suicide is preventable, but everyone has a role to play. Let’s make a difference, together.

L.I.V.E. Model Workshop and Project STAY
The L.I.V.E. Model Workshop is a four-part, three-hour workshop for youth aged 10 to 24 to learn about comprehensive health in a safe, supportive environment. Participants learn about physical, emotional, mental and digital health through activities, educational videos and small group discussions. Workshops can be provided in-person or virtually. A licensed mental health professional is included with the trainer to support interventions or assistance outside of the workshop. The best part? We come to you. Our workshops are provided on site at your organization’s location or we can book training space at a convenient location.
ProjectSTAY was created after a Northern Nevada youth athlete died by suicide. STAY stands for Say Something, Take Action, Ask About Suicide, and You Belong Here. The program was created because most states do not require adults to take any suicide prevention or mental health training to participate in coaching sports or extracurricular activities. This is a significant gap in supporting youth mental health. ProjectSTAY is a multi-partner initiative to provide youth suicide prevention and mental health awareness training for coaches and leaders in youth sports and after school activities. The two hour training equips participants to be able to recognize the signs of suicide, ask about suicide, and get support for the youth while engaging in supportive conversations with families and teams. This program is currently provided in Nevada in Clark County, Carson City, Churchill County, Elko, Humboldt, Washoe and White Pine. If you are interested in bringing the program to your area, please request more information below.
